Dr. Williams has partnered with the CSA Group to realize the process of internationalization of the Standard through the International Standards Organization (ISO). Realizing this International Standard will provide sharing of best practices between countries, increase awareness and accessibility of the Standard, and facilitate international advocacy and exchange. This process is expected to take four years, given that the governing bodies are international.
Simultaneously, Dr. Yeandle from Sheffield University will implement an international comparative review of Carer-Friendly Workplace Policies (CFWPs). This comparative nation-state study will provide the baseline data to allow the partnership to scale-up the Standard for global uptake.
