Gender Responsive Standards: case studies
Dr. Williams has partnered with the CSA Group to realize the process of internationalization of the Standard through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The establishment and recognition of this International Standard can provide sharing of best practices between countries, increase awareness and accessibility of the Standard, and facilitate international advocacy and exchange.
The standard has successfully been published with information tools offered to carer-inclusive organizations.
Simultaneously, Dr. Yeandle from Sheffield University HAS implemented an international comparative review of Carer-Friendly Workplace Policies (CFWPs). This comparative nation-state study provided the baseline data to allow the partnership to scale-up the Standard for global uptake.
