Jacob van Haaften is a recent graduate from the MA program in Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies at Trent University. He is an incoming PhD student in Clinical Studies at Dalhousie University. His own research focuses on human-nature connection and its benefits for mental health. However, he has thoroughly enjoyed his time working with Dr. Sethi on transnational carer-employee scholarship and is very thankful for the opportunities provided by the PG project trainee program.
