Project 7: Dissemination of the Standard in French Canada

Project timeline: 2020 to 2023

Dr.Tremblay will work to identify the dissemination targets/audiences specific to French-speaking Canada (primarily in the province of Quebec, but also including French-speaking populations outside of Quebec, such as Labrador, NFLD).  These will inform the dissemination plan of the Standard throughout the whole of French Canada.

Further Dr. Tremblay will take leadership in the creation of the French-language versions of the Knowledge Mobilization Tools for the Caregiver-Friendly Workplace Standard.  These knowledge mobilization (KM) tools, will be created in English by other team members, and will include: plain language briefs, video case studies, webinars, and other tools deemed appropriate for the target audience.  If a French-language specific KM tool is suggested to best disseminate to the French culture, Dr. Tremblay will be given the liberty to create it.

Dr. Tremblay will also secure the commitment of employers/work places to participate in intervention research around the uptake of the CFW Standard, where cost-effectiveness and human resource efficiencies will be studied.
